8 crazy nights no more than sub-typical Sandler Machine
For some reason, I went to see this movie with my girlfriend. I hate Adam Sandler (sans Punch Drunk Love) and I'm really not the biggest fan of the holiday movies.. but being Jewish was the motivation, I guess...

I'll just stick to "Fiddler on the Roof", thank you.

This movie was SUB-PAR Sandler. Do you realize what this means? It's WORSE than NORMAL. I laughed during Billy Madison, I giggled during Happy Gilmore. I made it through Big Daddy.... This, on the other hand, was 75 minutes too long.

The movie was not funny. The second it started to get funny, it collapsed like the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl.

Perhaps it was straining to hit two audiences... and unfortunately missed them both. At one end, it was your typical p***/fart humor that has made some really bad movies... well... moneymakers. On the other end, It seemed almost Dickens like to have a Scrooge in the show... with the ghost of sponsors past (where was the obligatory Subway?)

With characters only the ones hellbent on crying will care for, and jokes that... are just not funny... This quickly turns into the Adam Sandler Machine that could... raking in the cash on drivel.

Final Score: 2/10 (it gets the 2 just on the Technical Foul song, which I enjoyed) Amount of money predicted to make in the box office: $75 million (isnt this a sad, sad world?)
