Tres French
What a delight to see Charlotte Rampling back in such fine form (in all ways). Ludivine is a knock out, too. This Ozon film has the traditional hallmarks of French film rolls out so slowly, but in a French rather than Merchant/Ivory fashion. The plot is ridiculous and the twist at the end incongruous. But so what. Fine acting all around and a lovely French countryside make for an enjoyable outing. Did I mention Ludivine?
