One of the worst movies I've ever seen
Ah yes, the Home Alone series. The first one was a good movie; good but
great. Home Alone 2 and 3 were comparatively lackluster. But this, I,
even explain how utterly bad it is! The casting/acting is downright bad.
movies describes Mike Weinberg as being a "Macaulay Culkin look alike,"
in reality he looks almost nothing like the original Kevin, as do the
characters; to the actors who originally took their role. (Marv [French
Stewart] resembles Ernest more than Daniel Stern!)
The story is one of the cheesiest I've ever seen. It expects us to believe
single broken plumbing line flooding a house by a half a meter in less
five minutes! The storyline also tries to be a, "whodunnit," crime movie,
with an unidentified inside man letting the criminals into the house, but
the identity of the perpetrator is so obvious that it's just
Another large problem with this movie is appealing to the target audience.
Now, in my opinion, the best family/kids' movies are the ones that appeal
all viewers. (the Princess Bride, for instance.) If a movie, however,
appeals only to the younger audience I have minimal, yet still existant
respect for it. (Space Jam, for example.) This movie, however, is liked by
nobody that I know. Even my younger five year old brother who saw it
disliked it! And that, is saying much, because he is a Home Alone
Do not waste your time or money on purchasing this movie. Rent it; or
it from a friend, instead, however, only if you only want to see how bad a
movie can get. Truly this is one of the worst films ever to be made.
